Ok don't got crazy when you see this because we actually did this next project, but since my old site (E-Cybiko) went to Maverick I decided to put this on anyway.
Signal Booster:
E-Cybiko was working on a signal booster that would boost signals up to 5 times the distance. The Problem was that in order to boost the signal you needed to bring more power to the Antenna. The problem was in order to bring power to the antenna you would have to open the Cybiko unit up, there for breaking the warranty. We have already broken the warranty on most of our developer's Units. Since most people don't want to break thier warranty there is no way to increase range on the cybiko.
The only other possible way would be to buy a signal booster to connect to the antenna. However this is very expensive. Cybiko Inc. has the capabilites of increasing range the problem with that is the FCC states that all units using a RF signal must be under 500 feet. A company may go over that limit but they must pay a fee. Since Cybiko Inc is a relativly small company they can't afford this at the moment. Maybe by time Cybiko 2 comes out there will be an increase in range...
